ABOUT ME
My name is Rowena Lancaster. I am a qualified Clinical Hypnotherapist and Psychotherapist and have studied in both Australia and the United States of America. I have a Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy, gained through the Australian College of Clinical Hypnotherapy. I hold a Diploma in Social and Community Work, and am a Certified HypnoBirthing Practitioner.
I am a Member of the Australian Association of Clinical Hypnotherapists and Pyschotherapists. I am listed on the Australian National Hypnotherapy Register.
Over the past 20 years I have worked with many families in different capacities. It is this work with families that has led me to become a Hypnotherapist.
Situations occur in peoples' lives that can become a negative influence to the enjoyment that can be experienced in life, by that person and their family members. Happiness, success or general well-being, can be affected. People deal with this negativity in their lives in different ways. Some of these are; addictions, eg. smoking, drug use, gambling or alcoholism. Anxiety, fears, phobia's, stress, insomnia, weight gain, introvertedness, panic attacks, guilt, loss of self worth and self esteem, everyone deals with different issues in different ways.
During my work with families I realized that these negative influences have to be addressed. When one person in a family is dealing with an issue it affects everyone in the family. Addressing the issue through Hypnotherapy enables the person to move forward in their lives with a positive outlook, which in turn influences everyone associated with that person.
Hypnotherapy can alleviate these negative influences quickly and effectively without the use of drugs or prolonged counselling.
